This calculator maps your athlete’s force-velocity profile, classifies them as force-dominant or velocity-dominant, and generates a block-by-block training prescription based on that classification. For return-to-play athletes, Rehab Mode provides a velocity-gated progression built around one principle: you earn the right to train speed by first demonstrating force.
Assessment without prescription is just data collection. This tool closes that gap.
How to Use the Calculator
- Enter athlete info and bodyweight on the Dashboard tab
- Select Performance Mode or Rehab Mode
- Enter CMJ mean velocity on the Dashboard
- Log each test load and recorded velocity on the Load-Velocity Profile tab
- Read the API score and Gorilla/Kangaroo classification -> it populates automatically
- Go to Programming Prescription, select your block and week, and hand the athlete a session
